At Anavah Wellness, your satisfaction is very important to us. This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are granted in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECT Act 25 of 2002).
1. General Principles
- Refunds are considered in line with South African consumer law.
- All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to info@anavah.co.za.
- Refunds are processed using the original payment method used at checkout.
- Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days once approved.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds will be granted under the following circumstances:
- Cooling-Off Period (ECT Act)
- If you purchased goods via our website, you are entitled to a 7-day cooling-off period from the date of receipt.
- Goods must be unopened, unused, and in their original packaging.
- Refunds under this provision will exclude delivery charges unless the error was caused by us.
- Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Products (CPA)
- If products arrive damaged, defective, expired, or not as described, you are entitled to a replacement or full refund.
- Notification must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
- We will cover the courier fees in such cases.
- Unavailable Stock
- If an item you purchased is out of stock and cannot be supplied, we will offer you a full refund or exchange.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- Products that have been opened, used, or tampered with (for health and safety reasons).
- Products returned without prior approval.
- Products returned after the 7-day return window (unless defective under the CPA).
- Gift cards, digital downloads, or promotional items.
- Delivery/courier charges (unless goods were defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied).
4. Partial Refunds
In certain situations, only partial refunds may be granted:
- Where part of an order is returned but other items are kept.
- If goods show signs of handling beyond what is necessary to inspect them.
5. Refund Process
- Contact us at info@anavah.co.za with your order number and reason for refund.
- We will provide instructions on returning the product, if required.
- Once the returned product is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.
6. Exchanges
- In cases where a replacement is preferred (e.g., defective or incorrect product), we will send a replacement item free of charge.
- If the replacement is not available, a full refund will be offered instead.
